1:72 scale. The Short Sunderland proved to be one of the most successful flying boats to serve with the RAF. Sunderlands were used to patrol the coast of Great Britain and also to hunt U-boats off the French coast. Sunderlands served with the RAF until well into the 1950's and were also used in Australia and New Zealand. This kit features raised panel lines and rivets, detailed cockpit with seats, instrument panel and control yokes, gun turrets rotate and guns elevate, bomb racks slide in and out of fuselage, movable control surfaces, also includes beaching gear and authentic decals for Royal Canadian AF 423rd Squadron, Northern Ireland. 160 pieces.
